Design often demands long hours of quiet focus, sitting at a desk, refining every detail. But I find inspiration not just in stillness, but in movement—through exercise, time in nature, and pushing my limits both physically and mentally. Overcoming physical challenges builds confidence and strengthens my body, while quiet moments outdoors bring clarity, resilience, and wisdom.
A designer must be healthy—because design is a reflection of the designer. A clear mind and strong spirit inevitably shape the work we create, and that energy is passed on to those who interact with it.
Physical endurance, too, is essential. It allows a designer to push beyond “good enough” and see an idea through to its fullest potential without giving up.
The key to creating great design is taking care of myself—staying strong in both body and mind. Movement fuels creativity, and in turn, creativity gives meaning to movement.
